Amol Nanduji JaybhayeTeaching Assistant
CHEM 341, Department of Chemistry,
Western Kentucky University,
Bowling Green, KY, USA.
I recently graduated from RajarshiShahu College of Pharmacy, (RSCP) Buldana, SGBU, Amravati, Maharashtra, India with master’s degrees in pharmaceutics. I’ve found no place better suited for one’s intellectual development – your classmates, your professors, your TAs; everyone is there to help you make the most of your experience! I have already said goodbye to the most beautiful place to live and started my journey with a very different culture. I moved to the United States of America (USA) in Bowling Green, Kentucky for my second master’s in chemistry at Western Kentucky
University and also working as a Teaching Assistant in the same department. Bowling Green is the third-largest city in Kentucky a location to craft some of the most technically advanced vehicles on the road and best graduate schools. I’d like to share just a bit of my RSCP journey as it’s a common narrative and one on which you are about to embark. RSCP has given me unrequitedly, and I owe every thanks to the professors and classmates who helped me along the way. I got accepted at RSCP in 2016 for my masters believing I wanted to study Pharmaceutics. Though I had studied branches of pharmacy in Under-graduation.
I started my first year in Pharmaceutics and found a hidden gem in the RSCP pharmaceutics department. In the Pharmaceutics department, everyone is so helping and caring so I came to know many of my professors well. I will like especially to mention the different types of extra curriculum activities that took place at RSCP. I think I make most of my friends through my extracurricular activities. In college life, students not only study but also flourish their other talents. RSCP firmly believes in it and they provide many opportunities to students by organizing many extra curriculum events like Ganpati Festival, Annual Gathering, Kite Festival, Pharma Conferences & Quizzes.
The RSCP helped me to find an internship in a Plethora of Pharmaceutical companies for summer break, thus combining theoretical knowledge with the practical one. I worked in the pharma industry and began to integrate into the industrial culture. Fast forward two years, and I’ve concluded my masters in the specialization of Pharmaceutics and gained immense knowledge regarding Research and Development of various Pharmaceutical Formulations, learned Research Methodology, Quality Control of Pharmaceutical Products, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Novel Drug Delivery, Industrial Pharmacy, etc. Along with it I worked as a Teacher Assistant for Two years and taught Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biochemistry.
I would like to thank all teaching and non-teaching staff and all my dear friends and students. And how I can forget the man with the vision our beloved principal Dr.Shrish Jain sir, thanks for your support and love. Though I have already said goodbye to RajarshiShahu College of Pharmacy (RSCP) and the natural beauty of Buldana. I started a new journey in the United States of America (USA), and I am very excited about it.
